Install Linux on the compute nodes
Install Linux on one of the compute nodes. Configure host names, NTP, file sharing client software, SSH, DHCP
Open SSH, RSH and RLOGIN from the master node to all compute nodes and between all compute nodes. (/etc/hosts.equiv /etc/pam.d/{rsh,rlogin} ~root/{.rhosts,.shosts} /etc/sshd/*)
Install Systemimager on the master node and compute node. Take a system image from the compute node and try to bootstrap another compute node with it. Refine the system image, the TFTP and PXE boot configuration, and so on, until you are able to clone the second compute node automatically from the image.
Collect the MAC addresses from all compute nodes and put them into the DHCPD configuration. (/etc/dhcpd.conf /var/adm/messages /var/state/dhcp/dhcpd.leases)
