Place: National Supercomputer Centre, Linköping University, Linköping, Sweden
Time: October 24-25, 2018. Two half-days, lunch-to-lunch
NSC is pleased to host a SNIC Matlab HPC training course given by LUNARC. See this link for NSC Matlab installations.
This training event introduces researchers to how they can use their familiar Matlab environment to run computationally intensive Matlab programs efficiently on computer clusters. It will show participants how to run batch jobs, parallel computations, and provide understanding on the caveats in running in a cluster environment.
It consists of an introductory part as well as a more advanced section and is therefore suitable for both users who have started with Matlab on HPC systems and prospective users considering using Matlab on HPC systems in the near future.
Schedule for the two half-days:
24th Oct, Wed, half-day 1
13:00-15:00 Introduction to Matlab HPC, presentation day1 here, starts with a short NSC HPC intro
15:00-15:30 Coffe
15:30- ca 17:00 Introduction to Matlab HPC cont. link to Mathworks parallel and GPU tutorials
25th Oct, Thu, half-day 2
8:30-9:00 Coffe start up
9:00-12:00 More advanced Matlab HPC, presentation day2 here and example files
Optional: To be able to follow hands-on examples
