NSC is part of Linköping University (LiU) and a branch in the National Academic Infrastructure for Supercomputing in Sweden (NAISS), and through LiU a part in the Swedish e-Science Research Centre (SeRC).
In addition, NSC has two partners, SMHI and Saab, representing government and industry. They each have a representative on the NSC board. Information is shared and exchanged in focussed activities throughout the year.
NSC partnerships are aimed at mutual cooperation in the HPC area, including computation, storage, and application expertise. NSC engages in partnerships to give mutual benefit for NSC and partners. NSC strive to focus on activities that can benefit NSC:s mission to be Sweden’s leading HPC center, top-ranked in user satisfaction and science enabling.
